Construction of the Promenade Shops just east of I-25 necessitated a new north/south roadway. Centerra Parkway was constructed to allow traffic to flow freely off of the highway. The road provides access to the shops and just as importantly provides local connectivity between the growing communities of Windsor and Loveland.
